Gala in Blue Jeans

To recognize the efforts of our Miracle Worker Team the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation hosts an annual volunteer recognition celebration called Gala in Blue Jeans. This family-focused event is a special way of honouring and thanking all our volunteers who have helped make our various events throughout the year a success!

Miracle Worker Recognition Award

The award is to celebrate and publicly recognize the success of the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation’s Miracle Workers. The uniqueness of the Miracle Worker Recognition Award is that every volunteer is eligible if they have donated their time during the year to support the Foundation. Our volunteer program is based on the fact that the time of every volunteer is valuable, whether they are able to donate one hour or one hundred hours. Award recipients are randomly drawn from the list of volunteers who have participated in each of the Foundation's fundraising events during the year.

Thanks so much to the Grade 5 Students at Millwoods Christian School! Their inspiring story gets to the heart of philanthropy.
