Delphine Brooker

Delphine Brooker graduated from the University of Alberta in 1991 with a bachelor of commerce with distinction, and in 1994 from the University of Ottawa with a bachelor of law magna cum laude. She went on to practice law in Toronto with Davies, Ward, Phillips & Vineberg and with Skadden Arps in New York.

After returning to Alberta in 2002, Delphine left the full-time practice of law to pursue acting and writing. Highlights of Delphine’s creative endeavours include writing, producing and performing Craving, an award-winning one-woman show in several fringe festivals, producing a short film based on the play, and revising the play for a cast for Fire Exit Theatre in Calgary. Delphine also sat on the board of Ghost River Theatre in Calgary.

Delphine is involved in her community through her kids’ schools and sports, and is committed to supporting organizations working in the area of kid’s health and well-being, including the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation and Little Warriors. In her spare time, Delphine loves being active outdoors – running, cycling, skiing, wake surfing, you name it – with her husband Dave and their two daughters.
