Stephen founded LUXUS in 2007 and through his role as president has been primarily responsible for the vision of the company, directly overseeing the growth, brand development, strategy, philanthropic endeavors and corporate culture of the organization. Prior to launching LUXUS, Stephen spent 10 years as the president and owner of retail grocery stores, bringing years of experience and entrepreneurship to this new industry.
Before starting his career, Stephen attended the University of Idaho on a golf scholarship where he pursued a business degree in finance and accounting. During the summer breaks, Stephen remained active by owning and operating two small businesses, laying the foundation for a life of entrepreneurship. It was through this experience Stephen discovered his passion as a business owner, and immediately after school jumped into his career in the retail industry.
Much of the inspiration for LUXUS came from Stephen’s family and their personal vacations. Stephen and his wife Carrie are LUXUS owners as well, and love to travel with their children, Kash and Allegra, to the various destinations. As with other LUXUS owners, they believe in the model and are appreciative of the services offered to make their holiday experiences as memorable as possible.
Despite a busy career and family life, Stephen remains active in the community with LUXUS acting as the catalyst for charitable giving. This philosophy resonates through the LUXUS office and is an important part of the culture of the partnership.
