This year’s funding priority is the Stollery Pediatric Diabetes Education Centre (PDEC). \nDid you know that the PDEC is the only certified insulin pump center for as many as 1\,300 kids in Edmonton and northern Alberta? Funds raised for the PDEC will go towards a three-year project aiming to enhance patient and family experiences\, improve access to care and develop diabetes resources for kids\, families and health-care providers. \nLemonade Stand Day is an exciting opportunity for kids to give back to kids while learning entrepreneurial and community skills.
