Our 18th Annual Corus Radiothon is a live, two-day broadcast on CISN Country 103.9 from the lobby of the Stollery Children’s Hospital. CISN’s sister stations, 92.5 Fresh Radio and 630 CHED, support Radiothon both off- and on-site during the broadcast. These stations generously donate air time, staff and programming to allow the community a glimpse into everyday life at our world-class Hospital.
During Radiothon, dozens of young patients and their families share stories of hope, help and healing to inspire our community to invest in excellence at the Stollery. The radio hosts encourage listeners to call our phone bank and become members of our Bear Hug Club — someone who pledges a minimum of $20/month to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Since 2000, Corus Radiothon has raised more than $18.5 million — including more than $1.3 million in 2015. Proceeds help our Foundation invest in the best people, programs, pediatric equipment and research to keep the Stollery Children’s Hospital world-class in delivering specialized, acute health care to kids who need it most. Radiothon is the perfect opportunity for our supporters and volunteers to share in an inspiring experience and hear first-hand the difference donors make for Stollery kids.

The organizing committee of Corus Radiothon plans to raise an estimated amount of $1.3 million in support of the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation. Proceeds from this year’s event will go towards our Direct Impact Fund – undesignated funds that give our Foundation the flexibility to meet the Stollery Children’s Hospital’s most urgent needs and long-term goals, including an operating room expansion and critical care redevelopment. The costs associated with the event are not expected to exceed $81,000.
For further information about the fundraising goals and costs for this event, please contact Whitney Masson, Senior Manager Special Events, Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation at 780.431.4616 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
