CPKC Women’s Open Raises Record-Breaking $4.4 Million to Support Pediatric Cardiac Care at the Stollery
EDMONTON – The CPKC Women’s Open has once again demonstrated the extraordinary power of sport and community, raising more than $4.4 million in support of pediatric cardiac care at the Stollery Children’s Hospital.
The Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation extends its heartfelt thanks to CPKC, Golf Canada, tournament organizers, sponsors, volunteers, golfers and the thousands of generous supporters who came together through the CPKC Women’s Open to make this incredible contribution possible.
This incredible support will help advance pediatric cardiac care at the Stollery by funding specialized equipment and technology, groundbreaking research, training and programs that support kids and families throughout their care journey.
For kids with some of the most complex heart conditions, that means new possibilities for their care, their recovery and their futures.

CPKC and everyone who supported the CPKC Women’s Open are helping make those chances possible.”

The Stollery is the most specialized children’s hospital in Western Canada and a major hub for pediatric cardiac care, serving kids from Edmonton, across Alberta, Western Canada and beyond. Last year alone, Stollery teams performed nearly 700 complex heart surgeries. From diagnosis and complex procedures to ongoing care and recovery, Stollery teams care for kids with some of the most serious and complex heart conditions.
The incredible support generated through the CPKC Women’s Open will help advance that care, supporting the equipment, research, training and programs that help Stollery cardiac teams provide world-class, family-centred care. It’s a powerful example of what’s possible when partners and communities come together for kids.
