At the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation…
our donors are the difference. There is potential in every child and with every generous act of giving, this potential is closer to being realized. Thank you!

Second chances

After becoming gravely ill at the age of four and receiving the last rites not once, but three times, a liver transplant at the Stollery gave Jen Sherjan the opportunity to step into a bright future. Now 29, giving back is shaping Jen’s future in a big way.

Driven to give

A long commute doesn’t stop 17-year volunteer veteran Marsha Ewasiw – a grain farmer from Thorhild with five grandchildren – from helping out at our events in support of Stollery kids and their families. “It’s pure fun,” raves Marsha. “In fact, it’s a blast.”

A special heart

A congenital heart defect has meant nine surgeries, three of them being open-heart, and more than 400 days in the hospital for two-year-old Evanna Irvine. But thanks to the pediatric cardiac specialists at the Stollery, Evanna continues to defy the odds.

Above the curve

Scoliosis patients like Emma need multiple X-rays over time for monitoring and treatment. Thanks to $775,000 from donors like you, the Stollery is the only hospital in Alberta with a new imaging system that exposes kids like Emma to six to nine times less radiation.
