A future with No Bounds
The Stollery is the most specialized children’s hospital in Western Canada. It’s the second largest children’s hospital in Canada by both bed-count and patient visits — but it’s the only children’s hospital woven through an existing adult hospital. Together, we’re going to change that.
Throughout the month of October, we reflected and celebrated everything we’ve accomplished over the past 25 years. We enjoyed getting to thank you by delivering coffee and treats throughout the Stollery sites and highlighting accomplishments and facts throughout the years and all the people who make the Stollery the place it is. But there is still so much we can do together. Help us create a future for kids with No Bounds and build on the legacy of the last 25 years.
The Stollery Children’s Hospital was built within the walls of an adult hospital over 25 years ago. Although we’ve outgrown the current space, the team at the Stollery has accomplished incredible advancements, including:
- Becoming the hub for pediatric cardiac care in Western Canada
- Growing into a national leader in solid organ transplantation
- Receiving national recognition for its life support program
- Achieving certification for the highest standards in pediatric pain care
- Welcoming the first dedicated Child Life Services Facility dog at any children’s hospital in Canada
- Establishing a first-of-its-kind Indigenous pediatric health program in Canada
Imagine the possibilities in a space built just for kids.
With your support, we can continue providing world-class care during more than 377,000 patient visits a year, while transforming the future of kids’ health by building a stand-alone Stollery – one that’s built just for kids and their families.
