At the Stollery, world-class medical care is only part of the journey. Donor supported programs are what cares for the whole family and lets kids be kids even during a hospital stay.
When a kid comes to the Stollery, they don’t come alone.
They come with parents, siblings, grandparents, guardians and every caregiver in between. No matter the reason for their visit, they all show up the same way: full of uncertainty and hope.
Because of donor support, families also receive something just as important: comfort, connection and care beyond medicine through Patient and Family-Centred Care, Child Life, the ASSIST Team and the Awasisak Indigenous Health Program.
These programs and services wouldn’t exist without donor support.
As more children and families rely on Stollery care each year, the need to support families through every part of their journey continues to grow. As we look towards the future, we have an opportunity to do even more.
Through Stollery No Bounds, we’re not only strengthening these programs and services today, but also helping make sure they’re thoughtfully integrated into a new stand-alone Stollery.
