Meet Aubree
Aubree loves music and her big sister, Abigail! Born at 24 weeks and five days, Aubree was a micro-preemie weighing only 680 grams. But although tiny, she is fierce!
Aubree’s journey began with overcoming a brain bleed, surviving an intestinal disease called necrotizing enterocolitis, life-saving emergency surgeries, cardiac arrest, a cerebral palsy diagnosis, and of course, needing to grow.Â
Thanks to the life-saving care at the Stollery, Aubree now only needs to use the Hospital for follow-ups or when she gets sick and needs additional support. Her family now calls her their warrior Princess – she is feisty and strong!Â
