Meet Payton

When Payton was just three weeks old, she was having trouble breathing. While her mom called an ambulance, her grandma gave her CPR on the kitchen table. The paramedics arrived and rushed her to the Stollery Children’s Hospital where she was diagnosed with severe allergic response asthma, eczema and allergies.

When facing a flare-up, Payton’s throat starts to close and she has trouble breathing. With the help of her Stollery team, Payton has learned how to identify her triggers before they become life-threatening, allowing her and her family to protect herself and face life on the farm with confidence.

The Stollery represents hope — hope that our daughter will continue growing, and that we’ll have the privilege of watching her continue to amaze us.
