Meet Savannah
Savannah doesn’t shy away from the spotlight! She’s a triple-threat who loves performing, crafting and spending time with her family. While she visits the Stollery Children’s Hospital regularly for infusions to manage her diseases, Savannah has an amazing attitude and a zest for life!

When Savannah was about five years old, she was having a difficult time reading and complaining of eye pain. Her parents also noticed that she was having difficulty walking and that her knees were extremely swollen. They brought her into the Stollery where she was diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis and uveitis, or inflammation inside her eye. Over the years, Savannah developed glaucoma and has had multiple eye surgeries.
Today, Savannah sees a rheumatologist and returns to the Stollery every month for infusions to help her manage her arthritis. Her family is grateful for the family-centric approach the Stollery has when caring for their daughter, while also letting her advocate for herself.
