Meet Tristan
Tristan loves beatboxing, breakdancing and ninja obstacle training! While he visits the Stollery Children’s Hospital regularly for burn scar releases and grafting surgery, Tristan radiates strength and resilience.

When Tristan was 10 months old, he was severely anemic and admitted to the Stollery for a month. While his family thought that returning home was the end of his Stollery story, Tristan needed the Hospital again when he was just two and a half years old after he fell into a day-old firepit and suffered severe burns on his hands. After spending several weeks in the Stollery recovering from his tragic burn accident, Tristan had dozens of surgeries and laser treatments to manage his burns.
Today, Tristan returns to the Stollery regularly to laser his scars and uses his accident as an opportunity to inspire other kids to be resilient and persevere. He and his family are grateful to have a world-class children’s hospital right in their backyard.
