Kevin is a partner within MNP LLP’s public and private companies group, where he specializes in working with MNP’s oilfield services clients, First Nations and Indigenous/First Nations-owned companies. He advises and conducts audits for large organizations and manages compliance engagements to provide clients with useable recommendations and feedback along with required annual deliverables. Kevin also works with clients on consulting matters, including process and risk reviews, tax planning, outsourced finance support at the CFO level and other business- and finance-related matters.
Combining academic and industry experience with training specific to oil and gas and First Nations, Kevin is quick to understand the unique needs of his clients and deliver practical, efficient and effective solutions.
Before joining MNP, Kevin worked as a chief financial officer for a large division of a public company and with another major accounting firm. He received a bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Alberta, and obtained the Chartered Professional Accountant designation in 2003 after completing a master’s of professional accounting at the University of Saskatchewan that same year.
Since 2013, Kevin has worked with the Stollery where he sits on various family focused committees and councils, including the neonatal intensive care unit family advisory care team and the patient and family care council.
