Mighty Millions Lottery 2020 - Top Prize Winners

Albertans buy more Mighty Millions Lottery tickets than ever before to help advance physical and mental health care at the Stollery Children’s Hospital

EDMONTON — The Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation awarded its top prizes today in the Mighty Millions Lottery. With proceeds projected to exceed $3 million, Albertans bought more than 88,000 tickets to help kids and families from backyards across Alberta who rely on the pediatric expertise that the Stollery provides. The Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation is directing proceeds to help fund the most urgent needs of the Hospital. One such area is the expansion of round-the-clock mental health support for children, youth and families, and integration of mental health crisis services within the Stollery Emergency department. This will help to provide 24/7 access to an expert team of pediatric nurses, social workers, therapists and child and adolescent psychiatrists.
