On a mission to transform children’s health
Foundation president & CEO Mike House is making a global impression as he paves the path to discovering the potential of every child.

It’s not every day that one gets recognized for the impact of their work on a global stage.
Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation president and CEO Mike House is one of 13 global nominees, and the Canadian regional nominee, for the 2022 YPO Global Impact Award, recognizing the significant impact its members are having inside and outside of their respective organizations and celebrating next-level leadership.
“I’m humbled to be in such amazing company with other YPO members who are demonstrating innovation and leadership at the highest level,” says House. “Helping give all kids the best chance at a long and healthy life is immensely rewarding and I’m excited to keep working alongside my incredible team to transform children’s health.”
Under Mike’s leadership, the Foundation has raised more than $200 million since 2012, helping to advance specialized care at the Stollery: modern pediatric health technologies, training programs to attract top talent, world-renowned family-centred care programs and services, Indigenous health care, virtual care to reduce travel for rural patient families, specialized mental health services in the Stollery Emergency and renovated neonatal, pediatric and cardiac intensive care units to give patients and families more space and privacy.
