Lend your voice to the call to help build a new home for the Stollery, for kids tomorrow and today.

Stollery families are MIGHTY!

StollerySong

Wanting this song to be Stollerific, we reached out to the interim site manager of the Stollery Children’s Hospital and former music therapist, Jenny Plume to help bring our vision to life. Jenny came to the Stollery in 2016 as the Hospital’s music therapist, a career that began in 2007 in Nashville, Tennessee at the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.

Through weeks of planning and collaborating, lyrics were written and music was made. But, before we could officially call it a song, we needed some Stollery kids to lend their voices to the recording.

One chilly November day, Stollery families from backyards across Alberta came together and shared their voices — and their stories — to bring our Stollery song to life.

‘We are Mighty’ made its debut during the 2022 Corus Radiothon, being played throughout the two-day broadcast on CISN Country 103.9, 630 CHED and on Global News Edmonton.

Collectively, We are Mighty is about the people who work at the Hospital, the families and the kids all working together.
