On this month’s Spotlight on the Stollery, Stollery kid Kayden and his mom, Chasity, joined us as we sat down with our friends at Global Edmonton to chat about Teddy Bear Fun Fest, our 5km family-friendly run/walk/roll returning to Rundle Park this spring.

Join us on Saturday, May 10 at Rundle Park for our annual 5km fun run/walk/roll! Your registration includes a T-shirt, access to on-site entertainment and activities such as face painting, bouncy castles, live music, PLUS a complimentary lunch. Gather up your family and friends to support Stollery kids while having fun and getting outside this spring!

Meet Kayden

Kayden is a busy, boisterous boy whose presence lights up the room. After a rare diagnosis while in utero and further complications after birth, Kayden’s family was unsure if he would survive. Thanks to expert care at the Stollery, Kayden has not only survived but is thriving and keeping his parents busy.

Families now have access to a fully accessible indoor and outdoor play area at the Stollery Children’s Hospital.

Stollery care for the tiniest of patients

Thanks to your generosity, we can purchase state-of-the-art equipment such as a fetal echo ultrasound machine for the Stollery Children’s Hospital’s Fetal & Neonatal Cardiology Program at the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
