You are the key to helping kids like Adelaide
The Stollery Children’s Hospital responded to 737 pediatric patient visits from Grande Prairie last year, including 67 pediatric transports, to help kids like nine-year-old Adelaide Radbourne. That’s why we’re proud to partner with the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation to bring the Stollery level of care closer to home.
With your help, we aim to raise $1.5 million as a two-year sub-campaign to the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation’s $20-million Key to Care campaign to build a new hospital in Grande Prairie. Your donations will help fund:
- advanced pediatric equipment in the hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit
- a youth mental health unit
- family-centred care programs for kids and youth from backyards across northern Alberta
The Stollery Children’s Hospital will still perform major pediatric surgeries but the number of follow-up appointments, medical tests and mental health support visits to Edmonton is expected to decline.
