SFDC2026

A record-breaking score

Over Family Day long weekend, 108 hockey teams from novice to bantam hit the ice in the 15th Annual Stollery Family Day Classic, raising more than $682,000 in gross revenue, the highest score the tournament has ever reached!

Since 2011, hundreds of young hockey players lace up each February for this fun, four-day, four-on-four invitational, raising more than $6 million in support of the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation and Hockey Edmonton. Each year, the event encourages local youth to raise funds for kids just like them who may need Stollery care. This year’s tournament supports important family-centered care programs, like Giving Comfort, which provides families with free essential and comforting items, including toiletries, cozy blankets and activities for kids. Programs like Giving Comfort help make unexpected hospital stays feel a little more manageable and a lot more caring.

A BIG round of applause to the players, families, supporters, event organizers, sponsors, volunteers and donors who continue to make this event such a success!
