At the Foundation
The Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation’s team is made up of more than 50 people dedicated to supporting Stollery kids and their families. Below are a few stories celebrating our team and some Foundation milestones.
The Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation is celebrating a historic milestone for kids’ health with the Government of Alberta’s announcement of a land location for a new, stand-alone Stollery Children’s Hospital on the University of Alberta's South Campus.
Behind every transformational movement are people who believe deeply in what’s possible and who are willing to help lead the way. For Stollery No Bounds, that leadership comes from two couples whose long-standing commitment to children’s health runs deep: Erin and Richard Kirby and Lisa and Marshall Sadd.

Karen has more than 30 years of experience spanning the corporate and charitable sectors, leading teams through organizational change and transformational campaigns. Karen has dedicated more than a decade to advancing kids’ health as the Foundation’s Chief Operating Officer and most recently as the Interim President & CEO.
In honour of National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21, our staff participated in a smudging ceremony, led by Foundation board member, Stollery mom, member of the Enoch Cree Nation and elected Councillor, Amanda Morin.
