Our Stollery Story Squad program gives families the opportunity to share their Stollery experience, say thank you and spread the word about the life-changing work being done at the Hospital. Meet some of our Squad members in the stories below!
Blakley-Mae loves being outside, going to powwow’s, singing dancing and jigging. Thanks to the care and compassion from the Stollery's team, her family felt empowered to move to Edmonton to be closer to the Stollery.
The land of the midnight sun became just a little brighter in April when Stollery kid Elijah visited Yellowknife, N.W.T. to kick off his second year as our Children's Miracle Network Champion.
Khai loves trains and building tracks – but what he might just love most of all is dancing! Dance parties are his jam! Thanks to his Stollerific transplant team, Khai can continue to bust a move.
Amélie has a joie de vivre, is always ready to pose for a picture and loves dancing like everyone is watching! While she visits the Stollery regularly to ensure she recovers from accidentally swallowing a lithium coin battery, Amélie is resilient and inspires others through her infectious smile and bubbly personality.
Amber loves going to the mountains and cuddling with her dog. She is vibrant, funny and managing multiple rare diseases with the help of her team at the Stollery, has made her resilient.
Morgan is a girly girl who loves unicorns, puzzles and Disney movies – especially Cruella. Thanks to her ongoing care at the Stollery Children’s Hospital, Morgan is on the path to living a seizure-free life.
Samantha – also known as DJ Super Sam, is an aspiring young DJ who loves to sing, dance and create her own music. Thanks to her Stollerific oncology team, Samantha was able to beat cancer.
Tucker loves to be outdoors – camping, fishing and horseback riding are just a few of his favourite things. Thanks to the ongoing care he receives at the Stollery, Tucker shows no signs of slowing down.
